We started this initiative on National Take Back Day of April 24th, 2021.

The iniative is built on 3 T's. TVC, Teaching, and Take Back.

TVC of Parkway is our sponsor and we are supplied with Deterra Bags by Alliance of Healthy Communities.

The teaching is done through an asynchronous learning module created by a TVC member of the Parkway South Hub.

The lesson consisted of new updates on the ever-changing world of substance abuse.

We are planning on having learning modules made on a calendar basis for recurrent updates.

Lastly, the most important part is our partnership with the Deterra company.

We are distribute bags through TVC and they allow for safe and environmentally friendly drug disposal.

This is one of the most important steps for a healthy and GREEN community.
